Based in Paris, he is a partner at COMINDIS, where his practice focuses on contract strategy, project execution, risk allocation and the management of high-value project issues. Jens previously served for many years as General Counsel within the AREVA Group, advising on large nuclear projects, supply and cooperation agreements, and international arbitration proceedings.
He has acted as lead counsel on a number of landmark projects, including more than sixteen years advising on the OL3 EPR nuclear project in Finland, as well as on other nuclear, renewable energy and infrastructure developments. His experience spans EPC, FIDIC, NEC and bespoke contract structures, as well as claims, adjudication and dispute avoidance mechanisms. Jens also lectures on dispute resolution and contract management at Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas.

Živa is a Managing Counsel of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, and as part of her wide range of activities she oversees and coordinates the work of 13 case management teams in ICC: 8 in Paris, and 1 in each of New York, Hong Kong, São Paulo, Singapore and Abu Dhabi.

She reviews awards submitted for the ICC Court’s scrutiny as well as appointments and other decisions taken by the ICC Court and provides guidance to the teams in their daily case management.
In addition, as part of the leadership team at the ICC Secretariat, she shapes the Court’s practice and policy, and leads different projects related to the Court’s work. Živa is a qualified Slovenian lawyer and she holds an LLM in International Business and Commercial Law from King’s College London.

He leads procurement strategies for multi million euro projects, primarily in the Western Balkans and Central Europe. His current active portfolio is around 5.1 billion Euros and comprise a varied range of projects from transport, power and energy, sustainable infrastructure and communications. His work focuses on ensuring compliance with EBRD policies, managing risks, and aligning outcomes with organisational priorities, while working closely with project stakeholders, national authorities, donors, and other international financial institutions.
Throughout his career, Rafael has managed large‑scale infrastructure projects in regions such as Gaza, Jordan, Egypt, and Libya, providing both technical and strategic oversight, as well as fostering cross‑sector partnerships to ensure project success. His ability to navigate complex political, technical, and sectoral environments has been key to the effective and successful implementation of complex projects.
With a strong focus on leadership and team management, Rafael has led multidisciplinary teams on public infrastructure projects including motorways, railways, water and sanitation systems, as well as the implementation of photovoltaic power plants and energy transmission projects.
He has collaborated with the Project Management Institute (PMI), the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) and most recently with MAPS initiative for assessment of public procurement systems in Montenegro or North Macedonia among others.
Rafael is a M.Sc. civil engineer as well as an M.Sc. environmental engineer. He holds two master’s degrees in the field and has completed specialised training in renewable energy, public procurement, and development policies. His commitment to continuous learning and innovation positions him as an expert in the design and application of procurement policies within the context of international development.
