Equality and Diversity
The Society is committed to encouraging and improving equality and diversity among our membership and eliminating unlawful discrimination from all of the Society’s activities. A copy of the Society’s Equality and Diversity Policy can be found here.
Advertising
The Society’s policy on advertising and other involvement in conferences, seminars and other events and activities is set out in a policy statement which is available here.
Complaints
Should any member, employee or consultant of the Society or any speaker, guest or third party attending and/or working at a Society event wish to make a complaint about their own or another person’ treatment, they may do so under the Society’s Complaint’ Procedure, a copy of which can be found here.
Privacy
The Society is committed to protecting any personal data that it collects and processes.
In using this website and providing personal data, you agree to Society processing your personal data in accordance with its privacy policy, a copy of which can be found here.
We have implemented security policies and technical measures to protect your personally identifiable data from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure and unauthorised modification.
The individuals authorised by the Society to access your data are obliged to respect confidentiality. If you want your personal data to be deleted from the system, please contact the Secretary.

Payments and refunds policy
Payments
Your order will not be confirmed (event places not secured, membership not confirmed, etc) until payment has been successfully received.
All payments on this website are processed in Serbian dinars (RSD).
The Society of Construction Law Serbia is not registered for VAT.
Refunds
The Society appreciates that at times it is necessary to cancel bookings for events and request refunds. However, the Society may have incurred costs as a direct result of a booking being made.
If you cancel 6 months or more before the event, 10% of the full price will be deducted before issuing a refund.
If you cancel between 3 months and 6 months before the event, 25% of the full price will be deducted.
If you cancel between 1 month and 3 months before the event, 50% of the full price will be deducted.
If you cancel between 10 days and 1 month before the event, 80% of the full price will be deducted.
If you cancel within 10 days of the event, no refund will be issued.
However, if it is possible to resell the place(s), the Society will issue a full refund minus an administrative fee of €20 per place.
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the same payment method used for the original transaction, in accordance with the rules of the card issuer and payment processor.
Pricing and VAT Statement
All payments on this website are processed in Serbian dinars (RSD).
The Society of Construction Law Serbia (SCL Serbia) is not registered for value added tax (VAT).
Complaints
Society of Construction Law Serbia (SCL Serbia) makes reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of services and products offered on https://www.scl-serbia.org.
If a user is dissatisfied with a received service, they may submit a complaint.
Complaints must be submitted via email at office@scl-serbia.org, with the subject “Complaint” and a brief description of the issue.
SCL Serbia will respond to complaints within 14 (fourteen) calendar days of receipt.
Refund Policy
If payment has been made and a refund is warranted (e.g., event cancellation, incorrect charge, or non-delivery of service), SCL Serbia will issue refunds in accordance with these terms and applicable law.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment (e.g., back to the card used for payment).
Refund processing will occur within 14 (fourteen) calendar days of acceptance of the refund request.
Right of Withdrawal
Under the Consumer Protection Law of the Republic of Serbia, consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of contract conclusion, without giving reasons.
To exercise this right, the consumer must notify SCL Serbia in writing by email at office@scl-serbia.org, stating “I withdraw from the contract”.
Valid withdrawal will be followed by a refund in accordance with the terms stated above.
